Alter Ego is a German electronic duo from Frankfurt formed by Roman Flügel and Jörn Elling Wuttke. Active since the early 1990s, they helped define German techno and electro, co-founding the Playhouse, Klang Elektronik, and Ongaku labels, and broke internationally with the club anthem Rocker and the album Transphormer.
