The historic meeting between two legends of electric blues, an unmissable album, an unforgettable jam session, an extraordinary and unfortunately unrepeatable event... all this and much more in this wonderful CD/DVD that is absolutely unmissable for anyone who loves blues and good music.

We are in 1983, and on December 6th of the same year, a remarkable musical session took place at the CHCH Studios in Hamilton (Ontario - Canada) featuring two legends of the blues, Albert King (1923 - 1992) and the young, talented, and highly acclaimed Stevie Ray Vaughan, (1954 - 1990) accompanied by Tony Llorens on piano/organ, Bus Thornton on bass, and Michael Llorens on drums.

This extraordinary event was recorded, to the delight of all us enthusiasts, both in audio and video, and in this spectacular Deluxe Edition, we find both versions with an audio/video quality absolutely worthy of the event. The CD offers us 11 simply exciting tracks, although in reality they are 7 pieces, with some classics by King himself like "Blues at Sunrise", "Match Box Blues", etc...and only one by SRV, namely the famous "Pride and Joy", in long and extended versions with chilling phrases and solos, all interspersed with dialogues and comments between the two musicians between one track and the next.

It's truly a unique emotion to hear the words and laughter of these two blues legends, and fortunately for us, this emotion can be found even more evidently by watching the extraordinary DVD that captures the same jam session, and in which we find tracks not present on the CD such as a chilling version of the wonderful "Texas Flood" and never-before-seen footage, but above all, it gives us the great thrill of seeing together two immense musicians, in a unique and unrepeatable occasion, thinking with much melancholy about the terrible fate that the poor and unforgettable SRV would later face.

Believe me, this is a CD/DVD event, absolutely not to be missed.
