THE REVIEW

Stephen King does what I would like to do, makes a movie (a bad one, "Maximum Overdrive") and as the soundtrack 'uses' AC/DC, of whom he is a big fan, and since he's at it, he chooses the songs and this album comes out.

It's 1986, and AC/DC's golden era is well and truly over. This album reeks a mile away of a commercial operation... The only collection of the band (because that's what it is) includes one unreleased track (the self-titled "Who Made Who"), two instrumental tracks taken from the film, five tracks with Brian Johnson, and one (just one!!!!) with Bon Scott (Ride On).

Now, granted that to make a worthy collection for AC/DC (if one ever comes out), you need at least three full CDs, this album seems nothing more than a soundtrack for a horrible movie that no one has seen.

Disgusting.

Summary by Bot

The review criticizes AC/DC's 1986 album 'Who Made Who' as a commercial and disappointing compilation made for Stephen King's poor film 'Maximum Overdrive.' It contains mostly previously released tracks, minimal Bon Scott presence, and feels more like a marketing effort than a worthy collection.
