THE REVIEW

What I am about to review is, as you may have guessed, a bootleg.

AC/DC, as we know, were real war machines throughout the '70s, and this is recognized by everyone. The bootleg in question documents a particular and fundamental period of the band, specifically their first European tour in '76. However, it's worth saying it's just a relatively limited documentation.

The date is October 15, '76 in Brussels. There's not much to say about the bootleg, as it consists of only 4 tracks: "Live Wire", "She's Got Balls", "School's Days" (by Chuck Berry), and the lengthy finale "Baby Please Don't Go" (by Big Joe Williams). The peculiarity lies in the fact that these are 4 fairly rare tracks in AC/DC's live career. In fact, after being cornerstones for all their early years, they were practically abandoned already in the final times of the Bon Scott era, and then never presented again during the Johnson era spanning thirty years.

The audio is not the best, as is normal for a bootleg. But despite this, the exceptional form of the boys who hadn't yet conquered the world, is very much evident. Despite everything, this can be a good testament for the most complete collectors, like myself.

I'm a fanatic.
