December 12, 2014... Finally, the news I've been waiting for all my life has arrived. AC/DC are coming back to Italy for a single date. Imola Circuit, July 9, 2015... I can't contain myself. I eagerly await the presale date set for December 17 at 10:00 am... Unfortunately, tickets can only be purchased at Ticketone outlets the day after, while online and at Vivaticket sales points from the 17th... I think, okay... I mean, Imola Circuit is huge, could they really sell out in just 24 hours?? I don't want to spend extra money on fees and shipping costs. I decide to wait. I will have to change my mind dramatically... The 17th arrives... I wake up early... My cell phone is ready to keep tabs on the situation... It's 10:10... The sales have been open for only 10 minutes... Curious, I open Ticketone, also to see the ticket price... I'm stunned... "Tickets not available"... Is it possible?? It's been 10 minutes and they're already gone?? I change color, lose 10 years of my life... I can't believe I won't be going to Imola. I open Facebook to browse the pages dedicated to the band... Among people proudly showing off their tickets and those like me left in the... I read the post that gives me hope... "New tickets will soon be available"... I breathe a sigh of relief... But the joy ends immediately... Again "not available"... Another online round, this time I open the page of Claudio Trotta, the concert promoter for Italy... They're asking him a thousand questions and he kindly tries to answer everyone. He reassures us. New tickets will be available soon... I also ask him if I will find tickets at the sales points on the 18th... He replies, "tomorrow you won't find squat" (obviously he answered differently, but that was the gist)... Fine, it's 2 pm, I decide to load the Postepay and wait confidently for the new online release of tickets. To hell with the fees. To hell with the shipping costs... It's AC/DC, the band of my life, for them I would spend even 200 euros right now... And here's my chance at 3 pm. The first attempt failed... The second attempt seems to be going well... The confirmation comes with those beautiful words on the screen "thank you for purchasing on Ticketone"... I scream with joy... I regain the ten years of life lost in the morning (or maybe not??) I call my brothers, who were waiting for my news. "We're going to Imola!", yes, finally I can say it "WE'RE GOING TO IMOLA!". 65,000 tickets sold in half a day, 90,000 in 5 days. Imola will be a frenzy. After months of agony, I can finally pack my bags. Ready to make those blessed 1608 km round trip... I arrive at Imola around 5:00 pm... The circuit is already packed, but who cares... I take my place, it seems good... The stage is visible... I see that blonde head of Ringo and all of Virgin Radio... Okay, the place seems right... I look at the clock, time never passes... Damn it!! Ringo and Co. leave the stage, it's time for "Vintage Trouble", and wow, what a pleasant surprise!! A band I already knew, but live they rock hard... Thanks to the vocalist and frontman "Ty Taylol" who goes nuts on stage, brilliant... They deserve at least a couple more lines, but I'm here for AC/DC and not for them, but I can say they will have a great future!!! The sun is slowly setting, we're getting closer to hour X... The lights go out, a two-minute intro video starts... I can't contain myself, my heart is pounding... And here we go, explosion and Angus' guitar kicks off the dance... Audience in ecstasy!! It begins with "Rock Or Bust," it starts with a bang!!! I can't see a thing! Damn height, the spot wasn't good at all, but I hardly care now... The audience appreciates the opening track, title track of the latest work... Everyone sings the chorus, spectacular! Second song, it's already time for a classic, it's time for "Shoot To Thrill", DELIRIUM in IMOLA... It's a devastating pogo, Angus and company leave us exhausted at the end of the song... Off with the sweat-soaked shirt. I'm officially in concert mode!! "Hell Ain't A Bad Place To Be" slows the pace, but the level remains very high... It's already time for a masterpiece... The "classic" par excellence... Those three chords that made history, "Back In Black" sends us into ecstasy... Angus starts running up and down the stage like a kid, incredible!! "Play Ball" and "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" show us a band that despite the age wants to have fun and make us have fun... During "Dirty Deeds" I can even see the stage (I almost can't believe it). "Thunderstruck" raises the decibels. The whole circuit chants the word "Thunder!". One of the most exciting moments of the evening... Great performance also by Slade behind the drums. Yes, AC/DC are not just Angus and Brian! "High Voltage" breezes by pleasantly. "Rock 'n' roll train" has the task of keeping the tension high before the group's other masterpiece. The bell is seen in the distance. The chimes penetrate your veins, it's "Hells Bells" time. The dedication to the great Bon could certainly not be missed. "Baptism By Fire" is the last piece proposed from the latest album, which does not at all pale in comparison with other great classics from the past, but rather drags you wonderfully... We are already halfway through the concert. I pull out my cell phone to capture the moment. I already know what awaits me having read the setlist. "You Shook Me All Night Long" starts and it's total Delirium. Everyone sings at the top of their lungs. A frenzy. I still have chills along my spine. FANTASTIC. Three minutes where even in Bologna our roar was heard, I repeat CHILLS!! "Sin City" pays homage to that forgotten masterpiece "Powerage". "Shot Down In Flames" and "Have A Drink On Me" keep the level of the evening high.. But by now we are reaching the end. The setlist also includes "T.N.T.". Angus keeps time, that "Oi, Oi" practically sung by everyone. It's not an AC/DC concert without "Whole Lotta Rosie". And here comes the Rosie doll making its entrance on the stage... It's time to pogo as if there were no tomorrow... I'm still sore all over... Piece number 18 on the list. The guys haven't had enough.. Angus is practically stripped, a sign that we're at the end.. But "Let There Be Rock" cannot be missed... At the end of the song Angus gifts us with a 15-minute solo.. What a pleasure... He runs, jumps, lies down on the ground. 60 years and not feeling it!! Thank you for existing Angus, really thank you!! The band accompanies the finale of the solo and bids us farewell... Two minutes of pause. We really haven't been to an AC/DC concert without having embarked on the "Highway to Hell"... Angus wears the horns, and "Highway To Hell" starts... Spectacle!!! But we really have come to the end... The cannons make their appearance on stage... "For Those About To Rock (We Salute You)" ends the concert in the best way possible. Fireworks and blank shots... "Forza Italia", "Forza Imola" Brian and the whole group bid us farewell.

An experience I would repeat 10, 100, 1000 times... I practically never managed to see the stage (blame my short stature and not the organization), but really it wasn't a problem... What to say about the band?? Extraordinary despite their age.. The breaks they took between songs were more than justified.. Brian, despite obvious issues with his vocal cords, defended himself brilliantly. Angus is in a league of his own. He is the God of Rock, no question... Steve did his part. Replacing Malcom wasn't easy, but a great performance... Cliff was in the shadows, but we knew that... Slade, on the other hand, deserves many applause, a great drummer...

Emotions I will take to my grave... Chills I will never experience again, I'm sure... Thank you really for existing guys.... Long live AC/DC!!

This is Rock n Roll, the best damn drug in the world!!!
