The Catania-based Symphonos Musical Association is a free de facto association, apathetic and apolitical, with no profit-making purposes. It was founded in 2013 by the commitment of its founding members, who have proven musical and artistic experience, with the aim of spreading musical culture in their city.

The Association is the fulfillment of a dream: to offer the people of Catania a meeting point and reference for those who love music, and thus to expand the knowledge of musical, literary, and artistic culture in general, through contacts between people, entities, and associations.
