Dance and rock are the coordinates of a project born from new-wave and forged by 90s Italian rock but also by the love for Italian tradition. Newdress is an ambitious project born in 2002 thanks to Stefano Marzoli and Giordano Vianello, already collaborating since 1995 (Transea and Noir), to which guitarist Andrea Mambretti joined in 2009; it was precisely the arrival of the latter that gave Newdress energy and power which, combined with the precious sculpting work on synthesizers by Stefano and the energetic and telegraphic drumming of Giordano, make Newdress's sound closer to electronic rock compared to Alibi (self-produced in 2008), without however straying from the "song formula" and the love for "bel canto" in Italian. In 2008 they self-produced the record ALIBI, the band is now engaged in preparing live shows that starting from November will present to the public their new EP "MODErne Tessiture Sonore" produced by Kandinski Records with the Artistic Production of Stefano Castagna owner of the Recording Studio "Ritmo&Blu" in Pozzolengo (BS) who has already worked with CCCP (Epica Etica Etnica Pathos), Ligabue, Scisma and now Producer of Angela Kinczly.
