Boomer born in '62. I musically start with prog thanks to Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Genesis, and Yes, rinsed with Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple. Within days, the Canterbury gate opens: Soft Machine, Robert Wyatt, Caravan, Hatfield and the North, and Gong. Directions multiply among Velvet Underground, Cream, Jefferson Airplane, CSN&Y, Santana, John Mayall, Colosseum, Zappa, Kraut rock, etc. Then comes the discovery of jazz rock with John McLaughlin, Weather Report, Keith Jarrett, and Perigeo who throw open the jazz universe with Miles Davis and John Coltrane and the thousand others that space can't contain. I proceed by filling the gaps left open in early youth with Dylan, Hendrix, and the Rolling Stones, Italian singer-songwriters with Tenco, De Andrè, Rino Gaetano, De Gregori above all. Then Punk, post-punk, New Wave, and onward. With maturity, I approach classical music with an encyclopedic spirit and meanwhile wander in a thousand directions, wherever art can be found.

Greet with joy!
