In my life I have collected records in abundance, with a considerable financial outlay. As a child I liked Celentano, then I spent my adolescence between hard rock and heavy metal. Finally, tired of unlistenable records, I had an epiphany: thanks to a friend I was able to discover artists (many of whom are practically unknown or snubbed in Italy) who made music history. I’m talking about the Pogues, Steve Earle, John Hiatt, The Who, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Lou Reed, Clash, Beck, Bruce Springsteen, The Band, Commander Cody, Chris Whitley, David Bromberg, Dave Alvin, David Bowie, David Gray, Donald Fagen, Dr. John, Johnny Cash, Dwight Yoakam, Eddie Hinton, Frank Zappa, Frank Black...and then also: Jah Wobble, John Martyn.... Italians? Not much: I like F. De André, Bennato, Vinicio Capossela, Rino Gaetano, Cheap Wine, Daniele Tenca, Davide Van De Sfroos.

Greet with joy!
