Revenant

I have observed this site from the "outside" for a long time and I have noticed the prejudices of many people against groups considered "commercial".

As far as I am concerned, commercialism should be attributed to all bands that have even accidentally sold a record; therefore I consider it more than appropriate to regard the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd (and consequently any band that has sold records) as commercial, even though I like their music.

Moving on to my tastes, I listen to almost everything.

Favorite genres (or at least the ones I have mostly explored): progressive rock, thrash metal, pop punk. I also listen to prog/tech death metal, black metal/shoegaze, punk rock, Italian and non-Italian singer-songwriter music, new wave, shoegaze, depressive black metal. I do not disdain pop music like 90% of the users on this site.

I will rarely write reviews, I am here only to comment on them (since as an outsider I would have liked to do so many times but was prevented by my non-registration on the site), and to occasionally organize rankings.

Prejudice should be listed among the deadly sins.
