SKY FOR THE ORIGINALITY OF THE LEEN
“Life continues even without
me,” sing the Leen, but it seems that their music is still highly
appreciated by the audience and that the story of this group is far from
being over.
Having separated at the dawn of the new
millennium, at the height of their popularity, the LEEN only reassembled
this year, and the perseverance of its members (Max, vocals and bass – Gabro,
vocals and keyboards – The Bridge, vocals and guitar – Diego, drums and percussion)
who have never abandoned music has yielded results: in fact,
a few months together were enough to prepare for October 26th the
recording in Bologna of a video for SKY, the composition of new songs
intended for a new album (the fifth) and several live shows.
The LEEN continue to stand out for
their extraordinary originality, an unusual sound where instruments blend
in perfect harmony, taking us from rock to blues, from country to reggae,
sometimes with hints of jazz, surprising us each time with new and
unexplored sonorities, all to be listened to.
The band's new sonic dimension and the presence of a competent management
have already allowed the band to direct their music towards venues and recording labels in major
cities (primarily Milan), where their compositional and artistic flair have not gone unnoticed, quite the opposite,
but have been appreciated by the public and industry insiders.
