Should be some kind of introduction, right?

So let me introduce myself... I’m Hoffnung, a guy who signed up on debaser because, while continually searching for reviews of my favorite artists, I came across this site and thought: why not? And now I’m here.

I’m here mainly for the music... I listen to, and absolutely love, Kate Bush (who is also my avatar), Tori Amos, Pj Harvey, Joni Mitchell, Miranda Sex Garden, Julia Holter, Sinead O'Conor, Fiona Apple, Björk, Emilie Autumn, Siouxsie Sioux (and also the Banshees), Sinead O'Conor, Kate Nash, Bat For Lashes, Hannah Fury, Peter Gabriel (uh, a male!) and others (Massive Attack, ...) As you can see I can’t resist female voices.

Don’t ask me why I’m here, I don’t even know myself, probably just because it can be a great pastime and because I’m always on the lookout for reviews (I also hope to write some).
