Elfo1

Elfo was born in a small village called Ponte dell’Olio in the Province of Piacenza on May 26, 1987, although his family had been living permanently in Genoa for generations.

The musical career of our Elfo began in third grade: at his mother’s explicit request, he started attending an acoustic guitar course that was anything but serious, from which he emerged musically little more experienced than before and only 3 months later.
Following a short break, thanks to the collaboration of his re-starter Andrea Selva (a family friend), he resumed practicing chords in fifth grade, picking up the same guitar to play typical songs that are part of Italian music. The passion continued thanks to our Elfo’s self-taught spirit and his enrollment among the guitarists of the Bernardo Strozzi middle school, which happened thanks to Professor Cambrea.

In 2000, our Elfo was forced to move to the cheerful town of Modena for his father’s work reasons. There he successfully attended the third year at San Carlo middle school, developing a passion for Punk Rock (Offspring, Blink 182, and GreenDay).
In first year of high school, he met Giovanni Scartabelli, a boy passionate about Metal music, who slowly opened the doors to non-commercial music and, despite not being very skilled instrumentally at that time either, encouraged him to pick up his old guitar again.
About six months later, Elfo strapped on his brand-new Ibanez and enrolled at the Academy of Modern Music, which he still attends. At this school, he was entrusted to Manuel Belli’s experience, a teacher with strong blues influences, who introduced him to this musical genre and who still reveals to him the countless secrets of the six strings.
