My name is Claudia Piano and I live in a small village in the hinterland of Genoa, surrounded by greenery. I am married and have two children.
I love reading, playing music, and I can't help but dream. I started writing when I was still in school. Back then, I participated in some literary contests, receiving mentions and even a third national prize. Then work, marriage, children... took over my life. Currently, I teach music in elementary schools, leading children into this wonderful and magical world. I conduct Tai Chi Chuan classes in a gym here in the area. And, of course, I write.
I created the Armonia saga, an ideal place where music influences life without disturbing the perfect balance of nature.
I have published with Youcanprint the four novels of the Armonia Saga: The Whistling Melody, The Revealing Melody, The Dominant Melody, and The Creative Melody; five stories from the same Saga: At First Sight, Crescendo and Da Capo (The Story of Diana and Filippo), The Christmas Melody, and The Melody of the Heart; a romance novel: Confused Hearts (which begins in Alassio).
I have also participated in a charity anthology of love stories in support of AIRC, "At Christmas I Give You Love," and one in support of the earthquake-stricken populations, "Vigil."
The Whistling Melody received several mentions and reached the top 19 finalists of the Sanremowriters 2015 literary competition. My ebooks had more than 3000 downloads in one year!
I have published the first novel of a new urban fantasy saga set in Liguria, Dark Sea - The Underground Kingdom, Coedit editions.
