First of all, I must admit that I partly bought this album because of the CD cover (in my opinion, the design is really cool).
Secondly, because I happened to see the video from the first single, "Deadly Sinners," and was pleasantly impressed by it.
The absurd thing, in my opinion, is that this band managed to come under the protective wing of Roadrunner, a label usually more associated with "alternative" sounds or at least not suitable for all ears (Slipknot, Killswitch Engage, Fear Factory, etc.). And yet here it is classic Heavy Metal, with Maiden-like gallops and Rob Halford-like vocals (okay, there's actually a second voice in scream, but it's so secondary that after a while, you don't even notice it...). Not to mention the lyrics, in the style of Manowar and Epic Metal (swords, vengeance, battle, and things like that).
I could analyze the tracks one by one, but instead, I'll give you a piece of advice: listen to the single (you can easily download it from the official website of the band in question).
Do you like it? Well, then you'll like the rest (yes, the style doesn't change a bit for each track).
Don't like it? Then avoid it. By this I mean: heard one track, heard the whole album.
Personally, I found it an enjoyable listen, but originality is out of the question.
