THE REVIEW

After the previous attempt, the album "Live," the group led by Francesco Di Bella forges their own masterpiece, inspired by cybernetics and the theories put forth in the book "Snow Crash."

With "Metaversus", 24 Grana leaves behind the cliché of being seen as heirs to Almamegretta and 99 Posse, starting from the first track, "Nel Metaverso", where you can feel a new atmosphere rich in guitars and Beatles-like nuances, of unusual rap-metal (Rappresento), of lively punk guitars (Vesto Sempre Uguale), dub and electronica (the various "Nun Me Movo Mai", "La Costanza", "La Pena"), and sweet melodies (Stai Mai Ccà).

An important album that will remain fixed in the players of many people and will have a place of honor among the great Italian albums.

Take note of the 2006 edition, which, along with the disc, will have a bonus DVD with all the band's videos (notably "Stai Mai Ccà" directed by Davide Toffolo, pencil and guitar of Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti).

24 Grana

24 Grana are an Italian (Neapolitan) group led by Francesco Di Bella, described in reviews as fiercely independent and stylistically hard to categorize, mixing dub/reggae roots with guitars, electronics, and punk energy, often singing in Neapolitan dialect.

To label their music with a genre is offensive.

Metaversus, one of the most original works released in recent years, places 24 Grana at the pinnacle of the Neapolitan scene.

A rare, very rare example of excellent Italian music cared for in the finest detail.

An electric guitar guides us between the human world and the virtual reality, there is a need to stay in this new reality.
