Zakir Hussain

Zakir Hussain is an Indian tabla player and percussionist, son of Ustad Alla Rakha. Performing publicly since age twelve, he is noted for virtuosity on the tabla and for collaborations across genres with musicians such as John McLaughlin and Jan Garbarek.
