If making Batman realistic was a challenge, imagine an alien with underwear over his pants. Snyder, with the help of Christopher Nolan and David Goyer, takes the figure of Superman and transports it into an extremely realistic world, laying the groundwork for the shared cinematic universe of DC comics. We have an excellent Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent/Kal-El, a Kevin Costner who, despite the limited screen time, is very expressive, an extremely action-packed Russell Crowe, and finally a great Michael Shannon who plays Zod. Amy Adams and her Lois Lane are also excellent. But if on the one hand the cast is very good, the script has some small holes, the film closely mirrors Nolan's Batman Begins, especially with the protagonist wandering the world in the first more biographical part of the film. The second part is an action triumph, where Snyder pours in all his knowledge learned from 300 and Watchmen; we find scenes enviable to the best of Emmerich and Bay. The Superman of this film is much darker, and attention, attention, he no longer wears the underwear on top. The main theme of Hans Zimmer's carefully crafted soundtrack is very beautiful, and it stands out in the film's most epic scenes, making John Williams' historic Superman theme almost forgettable, at least according to yours truly, now forgettable.

The special effects are extremely beautiful, Snyder's directing technique has been influenced by Nolan (no slow motion scenes), and the camera is also much steadier. The title after the final scene is not missing, following the Nolan tradition.

An excellent cinematic comic, it updates the figure of Superman to the 2010s. And let me say, it was about time! However, despite everything, there are some inconsistencies, but this is not important, what matters is the emotion that a film should make you feel, and indeed I was extremely entertained for these 2 hours and twenty minutes!

We'll see what Snyder will do with Batman V Superman...
