Wojciech Kilar (1932–2013) was a Polish composer celebrated for both concert works and film scores. He is best known internationally for soundtracks such as Bram Stoker's Dracula, The Ninth Gate and The Portrait of a Lady.

Kilar wrote music for cinema and concert stages; among his well-known film collaborations are Francis Ford Coppola (Bram Stoker's Dracula), Roman Polanski (The Ninth Gate) and Jane Campion (The Portrait of a Lady).
