LA RECENSIONE

WOW - Flex in Studio (WowSquad)

Flex in Studio is the first album of the Roman trio Wow, composed of J-$o$a (rapper), Hermano (rapper), and Morph (producer), a very young group that can, however, boast undeniable technique and a great desire to emerge.

The WöW Group was born from an idea of J-$o$a and Morph, to which Hermano and Ciro, their videomaker, later joined.

Right from the start, the group showed a lot of chemistry in the studio (Morph's garage).

And finally, after a year from the creation of the group, thanks also to the support of WöWSquad, the trio of artists released their debut album: Flex In Studio.

The album is a sort of training for the trio, to test technique and style, hence the meaning of the title.

The work consists of twelve original tracks, characterized by sometimes light and playful atmospheres, other times more raw and edgy, and by a sound that blends trap, electro, and "beats with subsonic bass that break your ribs like the best tough guys from LA."

All this accompanies direct lyrics, with no half measures, for a work whose concept is to showcase technique, personality, and grit that are out of the ordinary.
