Willie Wright

American singer-songwriter who recorded the 1977 album Telling the Truth, performed in New York, Boston, Nantucket and Providence, continued performing until retiring in 2002, and whose 1977 album was reissued by Numero Group in 2011.

Telling the Truth was originally released in 1977; Numero Group reissued the album in 2011 on CD and vinyl with a replica 7" single containing Wright's 45 and additional tracks. Wright recorded and performed across the 1960s–2002 period and died in 2020 (as reported in the review).
