Wevie Stonder (anagram of Stevie Wonder) is a bizarre collective capable of creating absurd music, primarily based on electronics and experimentation; in short, we are faced with a collection of ambiguous ideas that can intrigue the unfortunate listener or make them so neurotic that they calmly press the stop button on the stereo, with equal composure extract the CD, carefully place it back in the flimsy cardboard packaging, and hurl it out of the window with unprecedented violence.

Perhaps this would be an overly exaggerated reaction, especially because the album is not at all unlistenable; the songs have a certain structure that makes them unique: the intro starts with a kind of sci-fi soundtrack with Ennio Morricone-like atmospheres, then a toy keyboard introduces a minimalist jingle bell and applause, finally a countdown rolls out the red carpet to the perverse "Lady's Leg Licked", where a porn movie narrator's voice over a deep bass excites the listener, amid scratches and computerized sounds; it seems taken from the repertoire of "Them Or Us" by Frank Zappa. "Cheese Rider" is a sort of very groovy Aphex Twin and in "Downstream By Bladder" it seems these madmen are preparing a device, with an underground ambient background. The beach folk guitar and an all Modest Mouse style of "Stitchin'" surprise, with the usual toy keyboard noises perturbing it.

"When I Nod My Head, You Hit It" is an experimental song taken from Beck; finally, in the concluding "The Rooney Man," the unsuspecting listener enters a pitch-black room, bumps into something, curses, and feels watched by an unsettling presence; a guttural and sinister voice narrates the story, the air is dense and such manna.
