THE REVIEW

Records of 2016: Part 1.

Exploding In Sound never disappoints, and once again they have managed to release a masterpiece that will be talked about animatedly in 10-15 years (at least I hope so). Fuzzy guitars, grunge shouting, rhythms that sink and melt, crystal-clear post-hardcore that only gets as dirty as necessary. Pavement, Nirvana, Archers Of Loaf, Built To Spill, Pixies and much more, like the mathematical vein and the preference for minimal acoustic guitar phrasings that bring to mind Slint (Washer ring any bells?). To compare with label mates Stove, Ovlov, Two Inch Astronaut, Krill and Big Ups.

Recommended Songs: Figure Me Out, Human, Eyelids
