Ernest Greene, much better known to the public under the pseudonym Washed Out, is an American lad dedicated to a branch of electronics known as chillwave, and with "Paracosm", he continues his partnership with Sub Pop.

In a nutshell: take Helios and blend him with the tropical and linear atmospheres of Tycho, and hand a microphone to our friend.
The landscapes are skillfully painted using watercolors in soft and warm tones.

Let’s be honest, nothing groundbreaking, although at first listen there might be a sudden crush, despite the vocal lines (for which mentioning that Tom Yorke wouldn't be blasphemy) sometimes seem a bit too much like themselves, covering the interesting electronic bases, and the variations aren't excessive but merely notes.

Here, a scenario is created; some patience is needed, it’s fun, it’s sweaty, that's what “Paracosm” is for, this is the essence, this is the gist.
Dissecting and technically analyzing the fragments, the seconds here is a superfluous operation.

Every now and then escaping the daily smog and dreaming of the cosmos is possible.
