The heart is a part of the body that beats to give life... Not just to you but also to others, and it beats even when your rib cage is shattered and it's ripped out. However, this element can be violated by any macabre event, like a rape or a killing. The story shown to us is the same for two women, who are raped by a group of people, and from their anger, they decide to violate the sensitivity of those around them as much as possible. A mosaic of sharp and malevolent events, which when grouped together give life to the film "Baise Moi." If we clarify everything, it turns out to be a plot not just an end in itself. Here, we are no longer talking about violence in groups without reason (the droogs) or other acts of cynicism. Here the violence is guaranteed, but like a flag to be raised in hand and shouted for revolution. It indeed constitutes an important element within the film. For example, I could mention the massacre these girls carry out on men (considered to blame for all this, thus inspiring feminism) as an act of violent rebellion. Like a desperate scream asking for justice, in a world where "denied justice" forcefully takes over something that should be better.
It sensitizes and disgusts the viewer, who enters as a hedonist and exits as an intellectual! But try explaining peace to someone who has only known war. The direction of the film is used with an old camera, but not a weak one, which still always makes a good impression. Baise Moi is not a film to be censored nor a film for adults only. It is a film with the charge of a brawl... It leaves you on the ground, screaming, in pain, and agitated.
