Stop bothering with those foolishly insipid and boring genres. Stop searching for "rare pearls" that ultimately have nothing to say. Cut it out with the likes of Sunn O))), Isis, Cult of Luna, God Speed You Black Emperor!, Ulver, and their tedious companions! Enough with those dinosaurs like Sonic Youth and Nick Cave!

Enough with these so-called "leader maximi" of Italian indie! You've cracked the so-called ones with the likes of CCCP-CSI-PGR, Massimo Volume, Marlene Kuntz, and Disciplinatha! But what do you find, in the end, in those incomprehensible words and those deadly distortions?

Let’s end it once and for all! And this is from someone who, until recently, reviewed artists like Stalaggh and Thergothon!

But what happened?? I'll be brief! The other night I went downtown and met a dear friend. She pulled a CD from her purse and said to me: "listen to it very carefully."

Back home, nonchalantly, I took the disc out of my pocket and noticed that... it was VIOLANTE PLACIDO! A gorgeous chick and, certainly, a sensual voice.

A few doubts attacked me before popping the compact into the stereo! I won’t deny it! But after listening to just three songs, I saw the light!

Here’s the truth, my dear: being mainstream and half-alternative! Singing a bit in English and a bit in Italian! Having charm and pulling a great show!

Isn't that how the world goes? Post-modern, liquid music, apparently insipid, trivial yet so full of food for thought!

So forget the counterproductive words of the sludgers, metallers, punksters, wavers, noisers, and their depressing company! Screw them!

Let yourself be enveloped by the sweet nothingness that this album floods, let yourself be seduced by this girl and her grace.

If life, for you, is boring...there must be a reason! Or not? Reflect, but above all LISTEN!

PS: Now I will go and throw all the "negative" CDs that infest my house out the window! Only love wins! And if even the prime minister says so, we can be sure of it!
