LA RECENSIONE

Stomako is astonishing. A mix of sounds like few others. The young man, Vincenzo, offers this project to an audience perhaps not so ready and receptive. We start from The Grado, passing through NFC, until we reach Stomako, where over a golden-age worthy beat the rapper delivers some sharp "stomach" rhymes. He doesn't mince words and the truly sweet melody accompanies these raw bars, immersing us in the author's world. "Cacciare le palle" has a little refined, minimal instrumental, but with the arrival of Looser, the album takes off. All things considered, the standout tracks remain Brazzers and Looser, in fact, there's even a music video for Brazzers that, in my opinion, is...original. The artist should provide a more homogeneous line to his works, I speak only at the instrumental level because at times the beats do not do justice to the lyrics, which are so refined and pleasing... If you miss the rap of 2002-2005, listen to Vincenzo Kira; otherwise, skip this album. It is not for everyone.

Vincenzo Kira’s album Stomako combines distinctive sounds with sharp and raw lyrics over golden-age style beats. The standout tracks Brazzers and Looser highlight the album’s originality, though some instrumentals feel uneven. Recommended for listeners who appreciate rap from the early 2000s, while others may find it less accessible.
