Victor Fleming (1889–1949) was an American film director best known for directing The Wizard of Oz (1939) and Gone with the Wind (1939).

Born February 23, 1889; died January 6, 1949. He directed both The Wizard of Oz and Gone with the Wind. He won the Academy Award for Best Director for Gone with the Wind (1940).
