What is this thing being sold as "IL MALE" at newsstands these days? This glossy paper rag that just touching it makes you feel nauseous? What is this weak and old pseudo satire without any bite and without the slightest ability to outrage, scandalize, or shame anyone? How is it possible that two authors from the old Male (the decrepit Vincino and Vauro) have produced this crap?
After all, we're talking about the magazine with the same name, released at the end of the 70s, created by Pino Zac who had in his stables people like Andrea Pazienza, not small fry... right? What sense does it make to resurrect 30 years later, with the internet and today's network dominating the scene, a "paper" product that already smells old after holding it in your hands for 2 hours? Today, when news travels in a nearly "real-time" and you can be almost immediately updated on what happens in Italy and the world? A newspaper kept alive by two ever-present 60-year-olds, offering only "crumbs of visibility" to new authors (Spataro, Makkox, Boscarol, and a few others) used as a palliative? Why give birth to a newspaper, which has the same publisher as Il Fatto, with advertising sponsors ("HORROR") that support it and has a reactionary and subversive nature equal to zero? Why tarnish the memory of a satire newspaper that made, in its way, the history of Italian journalism and counter-information just to exploit the old logo and its notoriety? Enough with the gratuitous desecrations. Enough with the sleazy exploiters, who circulate both in politics and in civil society (not to mention the so-called "left-wing" publishers and authors). Enough with this "intellectual pornography" kept alive by Vauro (the clown of Rai3) and Vincino (trained servant of Ferrara's Il Folio!).
Give us back the old Male, the one with multiple lawsuits, printed on raw and dusty paper, the dirty, ugly, and bad one, the one with the scoop of Tognazzi being the head of the BR. Hopefully, in 6 months, they'll shut it down forever. Amen.
