I decided to review one of the most talked-about artists ever, Vasco Rossi. We all know his career... he started with "... Ma Cosa Vuoi Che Sia Una Canzone..." which is one of his most beautiful albums along with "Vado Al Massimo".
Unfortunately, he later lost some of his sheen with bland albums like "Stupido Hotel" and "Buoni O Cattivi" only to almost completely plummet with "Il Mondo Che Vorrei", but we are here to analyze his latest work which is "Vivere O Niente".
1) Vivere Non E' Facile: The album starts with this track that neither adds nor subtracts anything from Vasco's career (4.5/10);
2) Manifesto Futurista Della Nuova Umanità: A semi-denouncement by Vasco in this piece and probably the best track on the album (7.0/10);
3) Starò Meglio Così: Like the first track, this one neither adds nor subtracts anything from Vasco's career but is listenable (5.5/10);
4) Prendila Strada: A cute and catchy song that is pleasant to hear (7.0/10);
5) Dici Che: Another cute song but nothing exceptional (6.5/10);
6) Eh... Già: I always feel like laughing when I think of this track... Eh... Già... (6.0/10);
7) Sei Pazza Di Me: Typical Vasco song without glory or shame (6.5/10);
8) Vivere O Niente: Musically very beautiful but the lyrics don't fully convince me (7.0/10);
9) L'Acquilone: A fairly beautiful song (6.5/10);
10) Nonsei quella che eri: Another modest song without ambitions (6.0/10);
11) Stammi Vicino: Another love song, as you can see, there are already many (6.5/10);
12) Maledetta Ragione: The album closes with "Maledetta Ragione", another cute piece of the record (7.0/10).
As you can see, the album is quite homogeneous apart from the first piece, which is a record without glory or shame.

"Life has no meaning, we are born by chance, and can only choose whether to face the challenge of life or choose not to live."
"Far from being an artist who goes against the grain, Mr. Rossi is in fact the prototype of the modern man."

"The human being who sees himself as an active subject within the world remains in a perpetually precarious balance, often falling but fortunately also having the strength to stand up again."
"Live with passion, fully and completely, or accept doing so passively."

The first single “Eh già” might have hinted to everyone that we are facing the usual Vasco. Nothing that hasn’t been tried before, but the chorus works because it sticks.
The real surprise of the album is “L’aquilone”... this song gave me chills. It is the only one on the album that I keep listening to without ever getting tired.

Thank you Vasco for still being here and despite everything, despite the success and the industry that is behind you.
'Vivere o niente' is the piece that we fans have been waiting for about ten years: it’s AN SCREAM of anger from start to finish.
