Here comes Blasco again. This time I'm reviewing an album that, in my opinion, isn't as great as the others, even if one or two songs really kick ass.
The album starts with the very sad song "Eh, stop crying!". Blasco tells his woman that she's been a pain because they're still alive and there's no need to be so worked up. He believed more than she did that it was possible, but they're alone.
But the songs are also fun like "Passing by, I'll take you and carry you away" the truly best song where Blasco brings out all his wildness, and the lyrics are cool because they show that chicks are constantly a pain but if you treat them the right way, damn if they don't follow you wherever you want. The track that leaves me hanging is "I Demand You," which is bold because at one point Vasko says "I'll rape you," and I remember my girl was terribly upset about it and threatened to throw the album in the toilet. Like hell she did though!
Then there's "Standing Ovation" where Vasko tells us he's had a ton of chicks and brags that he doesn't care if they hit on him now since he's the Blasco and will still get some even if he stays home watching TV all day. I don't like it when he talks because Blasco can't talk and in some songs, he talks and it's really crappy. But why doesn't he stick to singing since he has the most emotional voice I've heard.
My friends try to get me into stuff like Black Sabbath or Prince, but I stay loyal only to Vasco. Because he's an artist needed today and needed by the generations who have nothing on their minds and for this reason, it's right to let them listen even if you're young, not like my dad who gets pissed when I listen to him.
Greetings to DeBaser, but don't always mistreat my reviews.
