This is not an abstract list of names. These musicians, from different backgrounds, ages, and experiences, come together in the same album to individually convey their free and immediate reaction to a simple yet inexplicable concept: the sky. The Diapason edition immediately dispels any doubts of widespread self-satisfaction and any hint of a "commercial" operation. What remains is solely the accomplished intent to bring together diverse voices and expressions on a shared theme, one that connects but does not bind. The journey is uneven, of course, as expected. One might question the opportunity and effectiveness of this gathering. But one certainty remains. At a time when artists, by their own will or that of their entourages, tend to isolate themselves and seek distinct, almost isolated identities, the willingness to share the same space is commendable in itself. It is as brave as committing to a project beyond any genre, without a definite audience.

Undoubtedly, none of the musicians disappoints: some due to habit, others due to spontaneity, and some for trying something different. The listening experience is pleasant, the artistic and technical quality meets expectations, and the artwork narrates and completes the musical storytelling.
