We all know Amici a little.

Everyone talks about it, enthusiastically or not, but always aware of witnessing a television phenomenon. My total and unconditional affection for this beautiful talent show has little to do with this review, so let's get to the album in question.

This year, the Amici contestants were once again given a tremendous opportunity: to be part of the show's compilation with new songs. Nothing new then, or maybe not.

Because, although this possibility has existed practically since the beginning of the show, it's also true that this year the show's staff and Sony, which produces this CD, have worked exemplarily to provide the contestants with songs that are much more than worthy, something that didn't happen in past years. The level achieved is undoubtedly due to the talent of the performers, but especially to the collaboration of great authors like Niccolò Agliardi, Diane Warren, Niccolò Fragile, Lele Melotti, and Giorgio Coccilovo.

I cannot refrain from describing what I consider the most relevant tracks of this beautiful CD.

Among all, "Immobile" by Alessandra Amoroso stands out, an exciting piece made extremely convincing by the exceptional tone of the singer from Lecce. The same singer, with crystalline talent, interprets two other quite interesting pieces on the CD: "Find a way" and "Stella incantevole".

On the other hand, Martina Stavolo does not have as intriguing a tone as Alessandra but has an extraordinary interpretive ability and also good vocal agility. Talents that become evident in the delightful "Due cose importanti" and in "Delirio" (a not-so-thrilling piece written by Irene Grandi).

The soul atmospheres are also present in "Wise girl" thanks to Silvia Olari, a talent that bears a striking resemblance to Alicia Keys, as well as those typical of Italian songwriting in "Vai" by Luca Napolitano and "Domenica," a small melody jewel signed by Mario Nunziante.

Also interesting is the fascinating and elegant vocality of Valerio Scanu, put to the test in "Can't Stop" and "Domani". Test decidedly passed by Valerio, who, thanks to a warm and precise voice, is one of the most important talents of this edition (only second to the magnificent Alessandra).

The album is obviously already a success, demonstrating how good products on the market make sales take off.

We cannot speak of a masterpiece, but simply of 17 appreciable (almost all) pop-flavored songs to hum during the day.

Highly recommended.
