VAOT
THE SINGLE "UN PASSO DA" MY MORNING ALARM
The Sicilian band Vaot released their first official single on October 28 (on all digital stores), bringing Italian Rock and full music to national frequencies.
Having been a fan for already 3 years, I love their musical journey that sees the band perfecting their craft by studying at the conservatory until they open the Vaot project, from which emanates a sonic refinement and warm arrangements like the chords that leave a '90s rock imprint mixed with a personal style inspired by contemporary musical freshness in the minds of listeners.
The upcoming single entitled "'Un passo da'" (the first release of a collection that will soon see the release of an album), talks about the courage needed to face everyday life, one step away from what you really want.
The path that precedes it, the entire journey that is part of it like dreams, fears, the raw truth of what surrounds us.
"Un Passo Da" is an introspective journey about the courage to advance towards what can make us happy in our world by overcoming the limits we set for ourselves, sharing musical sensations interpreted by JB (the band's singer), which throughout its composition emphasizes those circumstances that try to bring us down, in which it is our "self," our uniqueness, that saves us from them.
In the song, it repeats like a mantra, "don't fall down, don't fall down" which means: never collapse, a cry of support for oneself and for everyone, shouted and scratched with all the vocal power of JB.
The Vaot band was formed in Palermo in the past 2016, uniting the two brothers Vittorio and Riccardo (drums and guitar) with the Rock musical line, introducing Giovanni Battaglia (vocals and keyboard) and Giovanni Morici (on bass) into their journey.
Ranking first in the Band category at the national Je So Pazzo competition in Grottaferrata, the group brings their music to various stages, reaching the finals at the 34th edition of Sanremo rock, and performing at various regional festivals and events, such as the "'Rock the Casbah'" with headliner Max Gazzè.
Such an under-30 band, young and technically professional, is a start towards the future possibility of becoming a full-fledged Rock Band, because as we know perseverance and commitment always pay off and this group carries the necessary elements directly in their pocket. Oh, and they're humble too, which never hurts.
Great.
