THE REVIEW

To grandly celebrate 25 years of activity, this famous war machine of intense and historic death metal has chosen to release a substantially rich work that, at the same time, could become decisively monumental on a global level in a few years. I would like to remind you right away that "we are not dealing with" a simple compilation, but we are witnessing a true reinterpretation as well as a careful extraction of all their most important songs from the past.

I believe that re-recording all the tracks of a glorious past again is a very subjective decision, which on one hand is useful through the use of current musical instruments, much more varied and advanced compared to the past, on the other hand is an effective way to prepare in the right spirit for what will be their next full-length in a few months. For some, revisiting their entire discography has been quite a useless operation, for others and especially for all those who have become deathsters in recent months, it may be worth turning to this abundant collection, gifting themselves an album that rocks "big time" throughout its flow, rich in the intense aesthetics and ethics of Vader, while at the same time offering them broad and well-deserved tribute. An intense and refined work that has served to achieve new forms of interpretation of historic songs like "Silent Empire", "Blood Of Kingu, and "Black To The Blind", which have acquired an even more significant and incisive power, worthy of live performances by the Polish death metal band.

There is little else to say, except that Vader are one of the most important death metal entities worldwide, having consistently offered high-quality works and destructive live shows across the entire planet, all combined with a truly enviable compositional coherence and seriousness. Only one decision or better their "intentional or unintentional oversight" made me slightly frown: not wanting to include, in such a prestigious milestone, tracks like the very famous "Helleluyah!!! (God Is Dead)" and the extremely violent "The Live!!!" and "The Book" taken from the last apocalyptic album of 2006 "Impressions in Blood". Essentially, we can say ultimately that we are facing an album where there are very few pauses in the 95 minutes of pure death, several tribute covers, long notes in the booklet explaining the why and the how of each individual track, all associated with this extraordinary band, with high death potential, between Slayer and "Death metal", as well as protagonists of an extreme scene to which they have strongly contributed in building masterpieces and gradually being finally realized.

26 tracks drawn from all their full-lengths completely re-recorded in a new guise to celebrate the twenty-fifth anniversary of the band's founding. In international markets, there is nothing that can serve equally and so effectively as a business card for the "Vader's sound". Happy birthday!
