THE REVIEW

We wait! And they arrive... or rather, the veterans Vader return once again, a band I have always held in high esteem. Indeed, with this excellent mini-CD, they continue to appeal to me even more. You can still feel the influence of Morbid Angel quite a bit, and now I would also add a touch of Slayer. That said, the four of them are definitely settling well into their style and their unmistakable sound.

The opener is the beautiful and epic "Shape Shifting," at times rhythmic but always characterized by a great drive that none of the songs on the record lack. Right after comes the song which, in my opinion, is the best, "We Wait." It will soon become a classic for the band. The following tracks are excellent, such as "When Darkness Calls" or "As The Fallen Rise" (already released on previous CDs). It elegantly closes with a beautiful cover, "Angel Of Death" by Thin Lizzy.

Standout tracks like 'Shape Shifting' and 'We Wait' drive the album with great energy. The record closes elegantly with a cover of Thin Lizzy's 'Angel of Death.' Overall, the release strengthens Vader's reputation in the scene.
