V/Vm is a radical experimental/noise project curated by James Kirby, known for extreme sound processing, provocative conceptual works and deconstructed popular material.

The DeBaser review for Pig describes field recordings made at a large UK farm (approximately two thousand pigs), heavily processed into industrial/drone noise; the review presents Pig as a manifesto of the V/Vm project.

The DeBaser review praises Pig as a radical experimental EP built from processed pig sounds captured on a UK farm. The work transforms animal recordings into massive industrial/drone noise and conceptual commentary on mass/homogenization. The reviewer calls Pig a manifesto of the V/Vm project and awards a top rating.

For:Fans of experimental/noise music, field-recording enthusiasts, listeners of conceptual and industrial sound art

A record composed solely of pig sounds? Possible, indeed very possible when you are dealing with the entity V/Vm, the radical project curated by James Kirby, famous to many for the irreverent work performed on popular 'classics' (completely destroyed, or abstracted – in any case with results systematically superior to the original -) or the decidedly less noisy (but equally inhuman) project, The Caretaker, which has enjoyed considerable exposure, particularly at the hands of Wire.
