Big surprise from Uwe Boll, who was known until now as the crazy director who made only horrible films that no sane person could watch. And then, suddenly, here comes his film Rampage, written and directed by Uwe Boll himself. The story is very simple, a suburban boy is bored to death, and so he decides to unleash a massacre against his fellow citizens, ending with a flourish in a bank robbery. The entire film is permeated with sarcasm; his actions are not completely senseless, as it might seem. The protagonist is driven by a murderous instinct inspired by the misanthropy that arises from the understanding of the futility of life itself.

Rampage 2 is even better than the first. Here we find our antihero still convinced that as many people as possible need to be eliminated, but this time he becomes a terrorist, taking hostage a local television network. During the movie, our antihero also starts quoting Marx, explaining to the public that the country is ruled by an elite of power usurpers, who have deprived the majority of the population and enjoy the dividends. And that the only solution to combat the corrupt power of the elite is to eliminate as many as possible of them.

B-movie, but despite the budget limitations, it will give you great emotions because writers and actors have given their best.

Recommended to all those who have the mental capacity to appreciate one of the strongest contemporary satirical films.
