The Unveil The Word project started in 2013 with the common intent to create something that could be varied and original to listen to. A decidedly arduous goal these days, where – especially in the alternative scene – almost everything has already been said. Nevertheless, this very young band seems truly determined, to the point of reaching the release of their debut EP "Skeletons" with the speed worthy of a sprinter. Three tracks plus an intro where synths and samples are the real winners, which, when stably integrated into a metal-oriented songwriting, yield decidedly interesting results for listening.

"Skeletons" is an impactful mini-album that can be especially appreciated by those who welcomed the latest evolutions of The Devil Wears Prada and Asking Alexandria, that is, a modern sound where the word "core" always plays a predominant role but at the same time knows how to freely open towards heavy-oriented shores vocally. At times inclined towards Hopes Die Last of “Trust no one”, these Unveil The Word have the suitable characteristics to build interest around themselves within the alternative scene; the important thing now is to see how they will fare in face of an important step like their debut album, where being predictable in front of such a wide range of elements is always very easy.
