I approached this band after watching the video for the single “Così diversi”, a sci-fi ramble, complete with a censored version because it was too hot (a fellatio). Then I listened to the album, which was recently released and virtually impossible to find in stores. So, I had to settle for the streaming link that was sent to me (although I saw there is a vinyl version, darn it). “Anime restanti” is the debut album of two musicians who have actually been active for a long time, and I think this can be felt in all the tracks with their gritty sound, but almost for its own sake. It's as if Fabio Massimo Colasanti and Danilo Cioni wanted to finally put together a single album with so many ideas, not worrying about giving it a meaning but mainly for the pleasure of playing. The result is a rock sound, created by professionals who are also clearly inspired from overseas, not to mention that Colasanti has worked for years with Pino Daniele (and now I believe he works with Grignani). There is love, attention to detail, from the sounds to the cover and video graphics. A good result, especially suitable to be played live. Could they have dared a bit more? In the uncertainty, they indulge in the video clips!
