LA RECENSIONE

I am writing this review because I believe Trust deserves a little spotlight. They are French and they sing in French, or rather sang since they are no longer around.

High-powered hard rock, very fast, monotonous verses, and choruses screamed with a rage that only the French language, revolutionary par excellence, manages to render physically visceral. From the Banlieues... To give an idea, those who remember "Antisocial" sung by Anthrax on "State Of Euphoria" should know that it's a cover of Trust.

I recommend the first four albums, all from the early '80s, "L'Elite," "Trust," "Repression," and "Marche Ou Creve," and you'll have a sufficient idea of how underrated they were. Fun fact: before joining Iron Maiden, Nicko McBrain played in Trust, and Clive Burr, after leaving Iron Maiden, joined the French group. An equal exchange, or almost... I don't know where you can buy the records, maybe in used record shops or with p2p... Enjoy listening.
