...Ahem ahem, how many of you know this group?
How many of you will read this review?
I already know the answer, but I will review this CD for two reasons:
1- in honor of anonymous hip-hop
2- because it deserves to be reviewed

TruceBoys: Carter, Cole, Gel, Noyz, Kimo
CD: Sangue

Crazy, the right comment, crazy and mind-blowing, if the group had been popular in the hip-hop scene like Fabri Fibra, it would have caused a sensation like Mr. Simpatia.
The CD is a hallucinatory journey into the rotten parts of a human being: pedophilia, murders, serial killers—in one word: blood. This group adopts a lucid and straightforward hip-hop, with beautiful and unique beats, dense rhymes, truly crude and raw lyrics, without a 'yo' or a 'bro,' stepping outside many schemes that many other Italian rappers follow...

So, the CD opens with "Nessun Riscontro," the beat is composed of a sample from those medieval harp-guitars, "io vivo di spettri" they say over it, the beat strikes well, the lyrics are really heavy, we're entering the violent life of a scoundrel, between drugs and pseudo-necrophilia. But despite this, it's not gangsta, zero gangsta; this group doesn't even talk about themselves, they're humble, they're like a cooperative of storytelling observers who rap what they see, in the rot, and you can feel that some of these things they have experienced. Still, good impact (sorry for the lowercase after the period, but it's for clarity).
"Circo" with DJ Style, has a beat that is a sample of the flute from Once Upon a Time in America, that is, it's not exactly that, but it seems like it... the Truce again emphatically tell us that the world as we see it is just a facade hiding very different and some shocking interior worlds. The world is a circus. Society is a circus, even rap is a circus, indeed.
"Inferno Minorile" opens cinematically (I don't know from which film it's taken), with Jack The Butcher it's about a heinous hell: pedophilia, reform school, violence (of all kinds) against minors, who in the future will turn, in turn, into monsters, thus carrying on a terrible chain . Heavy, the beat is excellent, it wouldn't be a mind-blowing beat, but with the Truce it becomes . It closes with a little girl obsessively and desperately repeating . Holy Christ, heavy. Then there's "Fuoco Sui Ricordi" ,"...I break the wings of angels, because they're not needed", "Consistency is for fools" the guys lash out against wisdom, knowing it's useless, that mistakes are made and that's it, and they spit on hindsight... in the beat the usual sample of a medieval flute...
A horror movie-like beat like Shining, opens "Forze Del Disordine", it's about singles and squalor, lived in the head of those dominated by the forces of disorder, which are nothing more than the perfect blend of the terrible things TV gives us, and the terrible things humans give us, which created them "forces of disorder by any means, at the cost of contempt, I give this".

Here comes the masterpiece, where a film is sampled that opens "Il Giardino Degli Dei" a rite with a pure and clean female voice, man and woman live a hell that is sick love that turns into murder , a serial killer, who loves women to an extreme level, up until killing them, the result? The persecution by their ghosts, guilt, but all this gets confused with normal love stories gone wrong and her voice singing "you abandoned me while I was dying, I didn't understand that my conscience was the key to that garden, to understand your essence, I didn't understand that being close to you, my destiny was next to you, was the key to that garden, to understand your essence" can be interpreted as: the search for the assassin of the Garden of the Gods, or the understanding on the part of the victim, of the assassin, as a final act of extreme love, which will allow her to reach the garden of the gods, there is also talk of morbid jealousy, and the piece closes with that film and the moment when he shoots her, while the beat continues desperate, heartbreaking, and then the rite starts again. Darkness, mind-blowing, extreme love, only this is worth the whole CD.
"Fuck Hip Hop", it comes to talking about music, the Truce are scared by this world, and and they lash out against commercial Rap from "porno" music videos, of the American rappers... , splendid... heheh, talking about themselves.
"Malasorte", it's about brain damage, hallucinations. Hallucinating beat and text, then comes "Stato Brado" with Primo Brown from Cor Veleno and Primo and Squarta, a great piece, a great beat, still talking about violence and hip-hop, and Primo is Primo, one of the best in Italy, and it shows.
The CD closes with "Brucio Il Tuo Tempio" dark beat, sick gangsta style, but the text is not gangsta... against trash, "light rap", etc...

Ladies and gentlemen, 10 tracks take us on a journey into the hallucinatory reality of violent rappers, mentally ill and fatal loves... a morbid and horrible reality that hides in the bowels of our good world and that also partially hides in each of us when even the serial killer disguised as the neighbor next door can seem like a good person. So, technically the album is well done, the beats are good beats, psychedelic in some pieces, hallucinating in others, a good groove that completes and perfectly accompanies terrible and therefore passionate lyrics...
The content is, I repeat and I won't get tired of doing so, hallucinatory, but really hallucinatory, they expose it well and they bombard us with their evil.
1- the content is not as genius as Mr. Simpatia, not ironic like Mr. Simpatia, but hallucinatory yes
2- despite content and beat, zero gangsta in this work
3- the beats are perfect and perfectly accompany those perfect lyrics that perfect the piece
4- hallucinatory, hallucinatory, hallucinatory, violent, heavy
There isn't a 5 (which they personally would deserve) for one reason alone: hallucinatory, but really hallucinatory, after listening to it or you watch Fantozzi, or you leave the house for the whole day and try to have as much fun as possible, or you roll four personal ones and wake up tomorrow, or you put it back on and get trippy or you shoot yourself. I know "psychotics," my mum is a psychotherapist and she dealt with them, and this CD succeeds in describing them perfectly.
Not recommended listening for paranoids, weak of heart, weak of stomach and true psychotics (they might commit a massacre). The rest is pure and violent grace...
