A masterpiece. There are no other words to define this double CD by the ex-Sottotono hip-hopper. Never a misplaced rhyme, perfect verses, soul beats and ultra-relaxed rap. The CD "Il Mio Diario" is composed of the "Notte" part and the "Giorno" part, and it's no coincidence that Torme starts with the night...

The CD opens with an introduction featuring all (or almost all) the contributors to this CD. It then moves on to "Se mi arrendo" in which the rapper dedicates his rhymes to a girl (Giulia???), as he will do for much of the album. It moves to the first single, released many months before the album's release: "Solo Tu?" once again with a textbook rhythm and almost poetic verses that showcase the skill of the ex-Sottotono... continuing through the CD, we arrive at the second featuring of the record: "Stanotte"...  the splendid participation of Al Castellana highlights Tormento's splendid metrics, if there was any need for further proof: "listen to what your heart says, fight, make it happy" or "if you close your eyes you will find me  I will stand by your side and protect you" demonstrate the exclusive value of the rapper; an even more beautiful version of this song is available at www.tormento.info. In "Ho Bisogno Di Te" we see the rapper's more romantic, almost "desperate" side in search of this (mysterious) girl. The first CD closes with two ultra-relaxed soul tracks: "Kokai" with the splendid participation of Eva and "Complici".

The "Giorno" CD has a lot more space dedicated to pure rap compared to the "Notte". It starts with "Selvaggi": a powerful beat and the true rapper's soul of Tormento make it a track to listen to over and over "... So will you decide or not? Do you push or are you running on minimum? Don't let them mock you....it's with these hands that I build my tomorrow." Then it moves to "Mi Piaci", the second single from the CD: once again here pure rap mixed with the romance of the album. Then we move to the most important collaborations of the album, where Torme's soul transforms into Rap with a capital R: Buio with Primo from Cor Veleno, Volo with One Mic, and Most Wanted with Mondo Marcio. Special attention also goes to the splendid "Il Resto è Inutile" with Tony Blescia.

In short, a highly recommended album for lovers of exclusively Italian soul and rap!!!
