Error 404

Born in 2011, Toot is a musical project that combines a 90s rock soul with electronic productions. Guitar riffs intertwine with acidic synth lines and tight rhythms. The influences are numerous: from funk to punk, from rock to electro, to techno, all supported by bass music lines that set the tracks ablaze. Error 404 was preceded by two EPs (Loading and Please Wait). And if their debut EP has already given this Roman electro rock band the opportunity to grace the stages of the best underground and other scenes in the past two years, we can only imagine where TOOT could go with Error 404. The album, exclusively produced by Sostanze Records (an independent electronic music label), is the classic bomb that shakes up the music market. And they've done such a complete job that it would be desirable to have a review for each track. In fact, listening to TOOT's album, you feel the energy that makes you jump out of your chair, honk the car horn for no reason, ignore the girl talking to you because you might have the chorus of Every Day Is a Struggle with the powerful Lord Madness on your mind or the track "Sballo" which has also become a "warm-up" video before the album's release, thanks to the expert filming of Maurizio Stanzione. Not to mention the usual warm and elegant voice of Giovanni Ciaffoni, vocalist for Suntiago, who collaborates on the track Nobody is dancing, which is among the best songs on the album (second video from the album) where the rock soul of the group finds the perfect recipe with the electro spices introduced by Flux.

The single “Sballo,” shot in Rome’s Pigneto district, was produced in collaboration with Velvet’s Cosecomuni Recording Studio thanks to winning the 2014 “Fuoriscena 6” contest, organized by the Circolo degli Artisti in Rome. Toot also appeared with Ernesto Assante and Gino Castaldo on "Webnotte" for the launch of the single "Sballo."
