THE REVIEW

BEST THING THAT CAME OUT IN 2016, OF MY HEART!

Tony Molina released a work that doesn't last less than 5 minutes, which is equivalent to an album by the Californian American mestizo. After the release of the album Dissed And Dismissed, 12 minutes of pure Dinosaur Jr and Weezer mix, at the height of both their splendor, I find myself with this Confront The Truth in my headphones and the approximately 10 minutes it comprises. Forget the distortions, the emotional anger, now there is Lennon-McCartney-Harrison embodied in the same person, Simon and Garfunkel as godparents, Pollard as the putative father, and Elliott Smith as a lost brother.

To close the album, a typical Tony Molina song: double guitar with distortion, typically Neil Young bridge, and closure with feedback. Perfection.
