A collaborative project between American experimental violinist Tony Conrad and the German krautrock band Faust, best known for the album Outside The Dream Syndicate (recorded October 1972 in Wümme and released as a joint album).

Recorded in October 1972 in Wümme with three of Faust's five members; the original album is presented in long movements/sides (later reissues include an additional track). The collaboration blends Conrad's drone/minimal violin approach with Faust's repetitive, machine-like rhythms.

The review presents Outside The Dream Syndicate as a fusion of Tony Conrad's sustained violin drones and Faust's steady krautrock rhythms. Recorded in October 1972 in Wümme, the album is described as minimal, experimental and avant‑garde. The reviewer awards the work a high rating and highlights its hypnotic contrast between machine-like drums and emotive violin.

For:Fans of krautrock, drone, minimalism and experimental/avant‑garde music.
