The new album by Tommi e gli Onesti Cittadini, titled “Mind Kontrol Ultra”, truly reflects Italian-style punk.
After all, the band composed of Tommi (Pornoriviste, Sbirri), Carlame (Skruigners, Discomostro), and Cosi is by now well-versed in this style and shapes it to their liking.
The album consists of 12 tracks, ranging from “Non ti avvicini” to “Il tempo della velocità”, in which the band addresses more or less profound themes, moving from “love” songs to warnings for society.
They sometimes employ irony, other times a sad awareness that times change and modernity is not always synonymous with improvement.
