"Brutal" is a sincere album, and in its authenticity, the essence of this Italian band, the Tom Ton Band, emerges, which specifically hails from Piedmont. The album is self-co-produced with the Vintage Factory Lab and was recorded in the heart of winter in a mountain cabin between Nizza Monferrato and Acquiterme.

Positive, cheerful, evocative, full of atmospheric and metamorphic dimensions, "Brutal" is the ideal album to take with you on a journey where it doesn't matter "where" you are going but only the wind coming in through the windows, the landscapes flowing and changing around you, the faces of the people you meet on the road, their expressions.
So while the wheels of your car keep turning, you open your eyes, look around, and realize that you've never left your couch. "Brutal" is also an inner journey.

What can be said about "Starry Day" that seems to be the soundtrack of a generational film where justice prevails in an unjust world and where there is still the will to fight, or about the acoustic "Did You Hear About David?" melodious and direct, reminiscent of a Beatles-like, relaxed sound, accompanied by an "imaginary hippie commune" in the finale.
In this album, you can hear echoes of Dylan, Reed, McCartney in the voice of Cano, "Canterburyan" sonorities in Giordano's organ solutions, distorted punk guitars that are very "Clash" and a dynamic and personal drum style that distinguishes Davide as their "Ringo Starr".

The melodies of "Brutal" stand alone, able to be sung with a guitar on the beach, and the vocal harmonies help to think about the "choral" aspect of these occasions.
It is worth listening to the whole thing.
