Toe Fat was a British rock band active from 1969 to 1971. Early lineup featured Cliff Bennett (vocals), Ken Hensley (guitar/organ), Lee Kerslake (drums) and John Glascock (bass).

The band's debut is noted for cover art by Hypgnosis; Ken Hensley and Lee Kerslake later joined Uriah Heep; John Glascock later played with Jethro Tull and died of heart-related illness in 1979; Cliff Bennett had an earlier career leading Cliff Bennett and the Rebel Rousers.

The debut Toe Fat album is praised for its shocking Hypgnosis cover, Cliff Bennett's soulful vocals and Ken Hensley's organ, but judged musically ordinary. The reviewer rates it 2/5 while noting pleasant early-70s analog sound and a superior cover of Elton John's "Bad Side Of The Moon."

For:Fans of late‑60s/early‑70s British rock, vinyl collectors, and listeners interested in early work by musicians who later joined Uriah Heep and Jethro Tull.

Some records are worth owning just for the cover alone.
