I have a confession to make: I have never viewed the nightclub scene and what it represents in a positive light, even though I sometimes don't mind having my ears filled with certain fascinations that might get my body moving, always behind a desk of course. I don't know how to dance—unless you count pogo dancing?

Getting serious again, Todd Terje is not a nobody: ten years of career and various remixes speak for themselves. Of course, the super famous DJs with million-dollar fees for mega beach parties are in a category of their own.

French touch seductions (“Introspective Norse”), even though the Norwegian DJ's telescope sees much further and captures space (“Preben Goes To Acapulco”). So it's not mere entertainment—there's also a meticulous sound search.

An eclectic album with many influences (even samba emerges in “Svensk Sas,” and later a featuring with Bryan Ferry in the only sung episode) and a continuous flow of beats that follow one another. You'll timidly tap your foot without disconnecting the synapses which, at times, extend toward the cosmos.

A snapshot full of vibrant colors and flashing lights directly from Scandinavia served on a silver platter on a tropical beach under the stars of San Lorenzo.
